We operate the sole legal online store for recreational cannabis in Ontario and will become the provincial wholesaler of cannabis for private retail stores once a legislative framework is in place. About the Role 

We are recruiting for an Analyst, Business Process Improvement (BPI) to join the Strategic Program Management team. You will be responsible for partnering with cross- functional teams to identify efficiency opportunities. design and develop process improvement strategies that are in line with OCS culture of collaboration and innovation.

About Your Day 
  • Gather requirements and define stakeholder needs for business process development and improvement 
  • Identify process improvement opportunities, develop improvement recommendations with identified risks
  • Assess current processes, develop future processes and process maps
  • Document detailed plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate new business processes and cycles into Program Delivery
  • Recommend approaches to obtain stakeholder and management approvals for technical content
  • Coordinate sign-off of process maps and procedures, ensure the content is accurate, consistent, and follow established guidelines and best practices 
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with subject matter experts, project team members and management across divisions to plan and implement process improvements 
  • Manage projects to meet schedule, business and budget objectives.
  • Recommend process changes that enhance service delivery and minimize inefficiencies

About You
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, or equivalent level of education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, project management, process improvement, and/or continuous improvement. Certifications would be an asset. 
  • Experience/Certification in Lean Six Sigma, Lean Thinking methodology/tools, would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage business leads and their teams 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong problem-solving skills
  • Intermediate to advanced level of skills with Microsoft Office applications including: Outlook, Visio, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
