About You: 
 

Our ideal People & Culture Coordinator is an up-and-coming HR professional looking to build on their existing skills. You are a natural people person and coach and you are looking to apply these skills in a fun and collaborative environment. Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you’ll provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations, assist in training efforts and act as a key collaborator in our recruiting and retention efforts.


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies.

  • Participating in full cycle recruitment.

  • Preparing new hire documents and ensuring that new employees fully complete the onboarding and training processes.

  • Maintaining accurate employee records across the organization.

  • Providing front-line support for employees regarding company policies and employee relations.

  • Managing employee snack program and physical office environment

  • Assisting in coordinating corporate events and activities.

  • Contributing to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in human resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge of legislation pertaining to labour standards, human rights, and health & safety.

  • Strong organization skills, critical thinking skills and attention to detail.

  • A strong team player with a customer service approach to supporting the organization.

  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience using Dayforce an asset
