The Opportunity

eSentire America, Inc. (Pleasanton, CA) seeks Principal Software Engineer. 

Work from home anywhere in the U.S.

Duties: Design, architect, code distributed/scalable cloud-based solutions; develop in-house

software tools/frameworks; plan engineering strategies; work with development teams’ staff responsible to effectuate projects.

10% domestic travel.

Required:

• Masters degree in Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related.
  • Will accept as equivalent six years of postsecondary education in Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related from one or more colleges or universities.
  • Will also accept as equivalent a foreign 3-year graduate degree in in Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related, if holder has a foreign 3-year undergraduate degree.

8 yrs. exp.: Architecting, designing, and implementing large scale (million security events per second) distributed systems.

7 yrs. exp.: Python, Golang, Distributed Systems, Architecture and Design. 

6 yrs. exp.: Cybersecurity Domain, MDR, and XDR.
