Corus is taking an agile approach of developing software to manage our end-to-end internal process, while considering the changes affecting the broadcast industry to ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers and audiences. This will allow us to evolve and compete with the future of our industry.
The Broadcast Investment Liaison is a critical member of the special project team (BTO) who is accountable for representing the viewpoint of our agency partners fully in terms of client needs, pain points in current business workflows, while creating opportunities to improve processes. This person will work closely with one or more Agile product teams who are working on the AdStore, AdOpt and Avatega products.
You’ll be working on things like:
Voice of the Business
Communicate current state workflows and challenges at an agency level (“pain points”) to Product Owners
Provide input on improved future state workflows and user needs to Product Owners
Ensure perspectives of all users’ needs are represented and communicated to the Product Owners (i.e. all roles within the department
Influence User Stories and Backlog Prioritization
Attend product demos as requested by the Agile Teams
Execute user testing within each sprint and provide feedback
If you have the following...we want to hear from you!
Expert-level knowledge of agency television buying (min 3+ years’ experience)
High-level knowledge and understanding of the television industry, especially in areas of buying and selling
“Out of the box” thinker: able to describe the way things should be vs. how they are
Highly collaborative, people love working with you
Ability to lead and remain focused in complex environments with multiple stakeholders
