BIOVECTRA Inc. is a leading bio-science business in Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia, focused on contract manufacturing and product development of active pharmaceutical ingredients, pharmaceutical intermediates, and bioreagents.
BioVectra Inc. has an opening for an Engineering Summer Student. This is a term position (May-August) located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the preparation of turn-over packages, commissioning packages and qualification protocols for equipment and systems.
- Assisting in the execution of commissioning and qualification packages.
- Updating As-built drawings in AutoCAD while following change control procedures.
- Creating PDFs of drawings and update Drawing spreadsheet.
- Assisting in organizing maintenance spare parts, supplies and tools.
- Participating in various aspects of new equipment and system design projects.
The successful candidate for this position should have:
- Completed a minimum of 2 years in an engineering program, preferably enrolled in chemical or mechanical engineering.
- Be competent in AutoCAD.
- Good administrative and computer skills.
