We are looking for a resourceful, strategic thinking Pension Analyst to join our expanding Quality Assurance team.
This role is important because you will be responsible for identifying and testing pension system changes, involved with conducting process reviews on site at employers, as well as supporting other internal and external review activities.  As part of the Quality Assurance team, you provide support for users within the Service Delivery team, including providing assistance with day-to-day processing, documenting procedures and training.

We are looking for someone with the following attributes:
  • Understanding of pension administration systems and working with pension plan texts
  • A quick learner with experience implementing new pension systems, and testing methodologies
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, a mathematical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Experience testing and documenting changes and new functionality within the pension administration system
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation
  • Exceptional judgement, strong team player, thorough, and logical
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Someone who thrives on juggling multiple priorities
Your College Diploma or University Degree, with minimum 5 years of experience with Municipal Employees' Pension Plan (MEPP), public sector pension administration, or an outsourcing service provider; and prior experience auditing employers and defect analysis, quality reviews, and data integrity makes you the ideal candidate. You may also have or be actively pursuing your Pension Plan Administration Certificate, Certified Employee Benefit Specials Program or Certified Benefits Professionals designation(s).

Once here:
  • You will analyze identified defects and test fixes provided by the vendor or internal IT staff based on priority and volume
  • You will document business requirements for enhancements within the pension administration system
  • You will Identify and participate in structured training sessions        
  • You will assist the Service Delivery teams with processing during peak periods in order to meet service standard levels
